The new Samsung Galaxy S23 models are expected sometime in the first quarter of 2023, now it looks like we have a lot on the device.
Samsung usually offers two types of processors for their high-end smartphones, one with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and the other with their Exynos processor.
According to Ming-Chi Kuo, Samsung will not use the Exynos processor in next year’s Galaxy S23 model, instead, it will use the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

1. Qualcomm should be the only developer of Samsung Galaxy S23 processors (compared to 70% S22 component) due to the next 5G chip SM8550 manufactured by TSMC 4nm.– Ming-Chi Kuo (@mingchikuo) July 8, 2022
This is evident because Exynos processors cannot compete with the next generation of Qualcomm Snapdragon. It would not make sense for Samsung to offer two types of smartphones while one would be less powerful than the other.
It seems that Samsung will only have Qualcomm Snapdragon on all types of Galaxy S23 devices, this could ensure that all these models offer the same functionality.
We expect Samsung to unveil their new Galaxy phones sometime in the first quarter of 2023, either in February or March next year. As soon as we learn more about the timing of the Galaxy S23 series, we will let you know.
