Since he started working with the charity in 2002, John Cena has granted 650 wishes through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, earning him a spot on the Guinness World Records list for most wishes granted.

Children with life-threatening illnesses between the ages of 2 and 18 can have their wishes granted thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Travel to notable occasions or sites and the opportunity to interact with celebrities have been on the list of requests from the kids. The kids want to meet Cena more than any other star.

Cena talked about his dedication to the foundation in a November 2019 interview with People, at the time having just reached the milestone of 600 wishes being granted.

When asked, Cena remarked, “I said, ‘If you ever need me for this ever, I don’t care what I’m doing, I will drop what I’m doing and be involved because I believe that’s the coolest thing'” We’ve all had the delight of giving a gift over the holidays where you simply nail it; that’s the same gift I receive when I’m able to make a difference in people’s life and provide them with amazing emotional moments.

Accidentally, Cena met Make-A-Wish for the first time. He remembered that in 2002, when he was quickly enlisted to make a cameo, he was still a WWE rookie.

Cena remarked, “I assume the person wanted to meet another Superstar. It wasn’t for me. “However, the WWE does a terrific job of mentioning that there is a Make-A-Wish child present. Please stop by and say hello. So, several individuals are brought in to greet a young WWE fan. We were then shuttled inside, where I said hi, took some photos, and then we were done. “Thank you, Make-A-Wish thanks you,” they say. What is Make-A-Wish, I was asking myself?”

Cena has now received this award from Guinness World Records twice. He has also reportedly received praise for winning a record-breaking 16 WWE world championships, according to Sportskeeda.

Make-A-Wish Foundation
The Make-A-Wish Foundation is a nonprofit organisation that grants children (under 18) who have been diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses the chance to meet their idol or favourite sportsperson. The organisation also provides opportunities for the kids to attend events as guests or to present and receive gifts.

A teenage fan called Cardon received the Cenation leader’s 1000th wish from the foundation in 2012. Cena has already fulfilled 650 requests as of right now, and that figure is still growing. Whether you like him or not, you have to admire him for doing things like this.
