The belt piercing menu will show some of them Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives the host’s most popular creations. Check out his “Bacon Mac ‘N Cheeseburger” topped with Fieri’s cult “donkey sauce” aioli and “Trash Can” nachos. The burgers start with small chips, a burst of Fieri’s “super melt cheese” and a bourbon sugar sauce, and the usual toppings on top.

Local diners recently got a taste of Fieri’s tastes during the pandemic with the opening of Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Kitchen in DC (from Buca di Beppo in Dupont Circle) and 23 districts. Capital One Arena is a good choice for Fieri, who likes to be on the front lines of NBA games. They won’t lack a crowd to feed the stadium, which reportedly draws about three million people a year between concerts, NBA, and NHL games.

The two-story, 18,000-square-foot facility is slated to open inside Capital One Arena in May 2021, making it the first betting facility in the US to be part of a stadium. Guy Fieri Kitchen + Bar replaces the inaugural restaurant featuring Michelin-starred chef Nicholas Stefanelli.

Fieri’s first Caesars Sportsbook restaurant opened last year in Phoenix at Chase Field, home of the MLB Arizona Diamondbacks. The menu, filled with fries, wings, salads, and a chocolate whiskey cake “Flavortown Finale,” looks familiar in DC.

Completely remodeled from its former life as a Greene Turtle location (601 F Street NW), DC’s Caesars Sportsbook features 17 betting windows, 16 self-service betting kiosks, more than 100 TVs, and a 1,500-square-foot LED display. . a screen that surrounds the entire area.

Along with Fieri’s debut, Caesars is planning 13 more betting sites and a new entrance to the arena.

Fieri is the latest major TV personality to plant a flag in the tourist-rich, up-and-coming Penn Quarter Bar Rescue host Jon Taffer (Taffer’s Tavern) and controversial British chef Gordon Ramsay (Street Pizza). Fieri already has a cigar-loving friend to welcome him to the neighborhood: José Andrés, whose DC restaurant chain surrounds Capital One Arena.
